What you will do
Tyco Fire Protection Products (a part of Johnson Controls) is currently searching for a new Production Supervisor to our factory in Lammhult, Sweden. You will be responsible for managing the evening and night shifts, which includes managing employees as well as securing quality and safety in the production.
The production is a prefabricated pipe setup with 100% customized direct orders. The pipes are cut in length, welded, leak tested, painted, assembled and packed in a customized way based on a blueprint. The work is both manual and automation.
You will be responsible for the evening and night shifts, and you will work during the same hours as your team. We expect that you are flexible and able to balance your support and availability towards your team. You will report to the Production Manager at the factory.
How you will do it
In the role as Production Supervisor, you will partake in a number of exciting responsibilities, as you will:
Continue a total quality concept in alignment with the company targets.
Work with Lean, Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, Kanban, etc.
Assist in recruitment processes, deliver performance expectations and performance reviews. You will also ensure a consistent level of coaching.
Ascertain that safety and accident prevention regulations are observed + HR related issues tackled.
Follow all Health & Safety and Environmental requirements that are defined on work instructions or communicated in training.

Qualifications - External

Management and manufacturing experience.
Supervisory experience - preferably with welding, painting and fabrication.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Fluency in Swedish and English.

What you will do
As our new Technical Sales Specialist, you will join our Inside Sales & Customer Service team, where your main responsibility will be to drive the sales to order process of our fire suppression products portfolio and services.
You will follow up on sales transactions and inquiries to effectively ensure that products are delivered to customer satisfaction and in accordance with agreed terms.
You will join our office and production site in Lammhult, and report to the Inside Sales & Customer Service Manager. How you will do it
Handle and follow up on sales enquiries to ensure correct product/brand selection for customers. You will use Salesforce to both create, update and follow up on project statuses and records.
Use customer data to accurately request Project Engineering support from Tech. department.
Function as the point-of-contact for customers, as well as communicate and coordinate with stakeholders such as customers and internal departments.
Use bill of materials to prepare quotas (via SAP or Excel) to your customers, taking into consideration standard pricing and discounts. You will also work with other software such as AutoCAD, MagiCAD, Revit and Solobri in this role.
Provide sales development support to our Outside Sales Team such as sales presentations and assist during exhibitions.
Assist in planning / quoting phase with hazard analyses and other special requirements on Pre-order site visits.

What we look for
Required
We imagine that you either have experience with sales of technical products or perhaps you are a Technician or Engineer looking to move into a sales role.
Excellent verbal and written command of English.
You possess a commercial and service oriented mindset with a feel for technical issues and attention to details.

Preferred
Ideally, you have experience working in the fire protection and/or construction and building services sector.

What you will do
As part of Johnson Controls, our Tyco Fire Protection division is now looking for an experienced Operations Project Manager to join our factory in Lammhult, Sweden. At our factory, we manufacture prefabricated parts for fire suppression sprinkler systems, which are sold to a global customer base within various industries.
We are currently facing an exciting expansion project, as we look to expand our production facilities to a new area, and therefore we need a Project Manager with operations/manufacturing and project management experience to lead this project from initiation to implementation. You will receive general direction, but it will be your responsibility to plan and control the execution of assigned projects and act as the primary on-site leader for your projects. You will report to our Global Operations Director and work at our Lammhult site.


How you will do it


You will be the primary on-site leader for execution, and thus you will attend project progress meetings as required, steer corrective actions, define recovery plans where needed and escalate issues when required.
You will supervise the selection, ordering, warehousing and logistics of materials as required for the project. In connection, you will liaise with Johnson Controls L&D, Operations and other departments.
You will pro-actively manage risks to project and margin achievability through analyzing financial reporting systems and project schedules.
You will investigate opportunities for improvements in the project scope that will result in value added change orders, and you will perform associated cost estimates, prepare proposals and secure customer acceptance.
You will be accountable for staffing and capacity planning of the project and for ensuring effective utilization of manpower and overall resources as well as coach your team on the management of operational risks.
Finally, you will prepare and deliver clear performance expectations, performance reviews and development plans for direct reports teaming with the appropriate matrix functional manager, and ensure EHS compliance.
In addition to the above mentioned tasks, other activities and responsibilities may be individually defined.



What we look for
Required
· Bachelor’s degree within either mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent work experience.
· Extensive experience within project management as well as within manufacturing/operations industries.
· Solid business and financial acumen with the ability to lead and manage diverse teams.


Preferred
· Comprehensive technical and operational knowledge from a manufacturing environment.
· A strong understanding of management systems, LEAN, CI and risk management.
· Fluent in English and Swedish with strong communication and negotiation skills.
