Hur är jobbet som Mättekniker?


Som Mättekniker arbetar du i första hand med att planera och genomföra mätningar och kommunicera mätresultat i organisationen. Du arbetar både med löpande uppföljning av egentillverkat material och produkter och mer projektbaserad uppföljning av externt köpt material (prototyper och utfallsprov). I tjänsten ingår även att vid behov medverka i problemlösning kopplat till kvalitets- och geometriproblematik och att vara en kraft i tidiga skeden i produktutvecklingsprocessen för ritnings- och mättekniska frågeställningar.


Vi har flera olika mätutrustningar som vi använder för olika typer av uppföljningar, en större MORA pelarmätmaskin där vi kan mäta större objekt, en stor wenzel portalmätmaskin, en hexagon absolutarm och en Leica lasertracker med scanner för mobil mätdatainsamling.


Arbetstiden är dagtid.


Kvalitetsteknik och Revision, vilka är Vi?


Tjänsten ingår i avdelningen Kvalitetsteknik och Revision, som tillhör Braåsfabrikens Kvalitetsavdelning. Kvalitetsteknik och Revision arbetar med att följa upp kvaliteten på våra produkter. Våra huvuduppgifter är att genomföra mått-, svets- och produktrevisioner på våra dumprar samt kvalitetssäkring av köpt och egentillverkat material. Vi jobbar både med dagens produktion och med våra utvecklingsprojekt. Vi är idag 17 medarbetare som har stor erfarenhet och kompetens inom kvalitetssäkring och tjänsten som mättekniker är kopplad till att en av våra kollegor går i pension.


Vem är Du? 


Du är en erfaren mättekniker med dokumenterad erfarenhet och ett genuint intresse för kvalitet och geometriuppföljning. Du kan arbeta självständigt, göra bedömningar och fatta beslut. Du har god förmåga att kommunicera, både på svenska och engelska, och återkoppla kvalitets- och mättekniska resultat och frågeställningar. Erfarenhet av mätprogramvaran PC-DMIS och Quartis/Metrosoft är önskvärd. Du har datorvana och behärskar Microsoft Office & Excel.

ROLE DESCRIPTION


As a simulation or software engineer you will be part of the new way of working with increased utilization of models and simulations that will replace the old way of exploring and verifying design solutions. You will be part of a strong team specialized in virtual product development or software development and have strong connection to the system modelling. To succeed in this position, it is important that you understand our integrated development process.

In the role as Buyer at Volvo Construction Equipment you are responsible for the operational part of purchasing connected to a commodity consisting of machined castings and pipes. You will be responsible for the day-to-day business with your suppliers and having a purchasing responsibility to 7 production sites in Europe. Main part of the work covering the production of articulated hauler and wheel loader in Braås and Arvika. But your responsibility also covering the component sites in Hallsberg and Eskilstuna, and Volvo Powertrains production sites in Sweden and in France. You will represent purchasing in many different new development projects, but also being responsible for the sourcing of new components to our running production. You will work with a broad network with colleagues from purchasing, production, RnD and our suppliers.

Required Competencies

ROLE DESCRIPTION


As manager for the System Software department you are responsible for the software life cycle of the Articulated Hauler products. Your technical area will be the embedded software and system development of our current and future architecture. In the role of group manager, you will lead technology and people. Together with colleagues and group members, you are working to set up a shared vision regarding the technology mission, meeting the upcoming disruptive challenges within AUTOMATION, ELECTROMOBILITY and CONNECTIVITY. You are working to build the team with capacity and capability as a whole, making the most of individual talents. You have the accountability towards the product and thus are leading and taking an active part in the product development life cycle. You will be part of the Engineering Management Team and by that contributing to the local technology strategy.
 
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a team of 17 engineers that maintain, develop and integrate our machine software
Manage deliveries, resources and expenses within budget frames
Co-operate with our technology team in India (Bangalore) regarding resources and deliverables
Secure the use of Volvo standards and common design guidelines.
Responsible for people development, leadership, and coaching of your team
