As a Buyer for Volvo Construction Equipment, you will be responsible for the operational part of purchasing for a set portfolio of suppliers and commodities.


You will be a part of our team in Braås, where we are 19 people in different roles within Purchasing. Seven of those are working in the same role as you managing a number of commodities.
We will gladly share our expertise and experience with you and are looking forward to learning from yours.


This is how you could make an impact


You will work with suppliers on a day-to-day basis and do the purchasing for 7 different production sites in Europe such as our Hauler and Wheel loader sites in Braås and Arvika, our component site in Hallsberg and Eskilstuna and Volvo Powertrain production sites in Sweden and France. You will source new parts to our projects and our production, contribute to develop our business relations with our suppliers and drive or support in negotiations. Furthermore, you are a key player to drive improvement activities both internal and with suppliers.


You will also represent purchasing in many different and exiting new development projects and for sourcing of new components to our production. To have good working relations with our suppliers are important, so to meet with them on a regular basis and contribute to develop our supplier strategy is a part of this role.

Required competencies

Description:


The purpose of the thesis work is to setup and evaluate DEM simulation (Discrete element method), coupled with an MBS (Multibody simulation) flexible body model for the load case when material is loaded into a load carrying body.


The DEM simulation software can be used as a tool to represent the interaction of particles with their environment. The interaction with the surrounding environment is often modelled as rigid in DEM simulations. When simulating a stone drop into a load carrying body load case, the body stiffness is of importance to accurately simulate the event. The flexibility of the load carrying body in the MBS model is represented by modal flexibility. Data between DEM- and MSB solver is exchanged in a limited number of nodes.
The scope of the work includes the setup of the DEM simulation with the co-simulation interface with an MBS model and evaluation of alternative setups of the co-simulation interface as well as computational demand.

Description


The purpose of the thesis work is to set up and evaluate the load and carry simulation of a Wheel loader (WL).
The WL model comprises an ADAMS multi-body simulation (MBS) model, a driver model, a hydraulic, and a powertrain model, etc. The driver model keeps the WL on target track while driving in an empty or a full bucket loading condition. In this thesis, the study needs to carry out the improvements in the driver model such that WL deviation from the target path represents a realistic behavior. Further, the obtained results should be compared with the forces collected using real sensor data from measurements. The thesis will be carried out in MATLAB using concepts such as Object Oriented Programming. Additionally, one can also get familiar with the complete vehicle simulation using ADAMS and Simulink.

Description


The purpose of the thesis work is to find the optimal solution for bucket loading using reinforcement learning (RL) while loading/unloading a wheel loader (WL).
Reinforcement learning has become a tool for understanding the optimal solution of complex problems. It started from the game theory and is today widely used in the industry to understand the optimal solution based on so called cost functions. An environment has already been created using Python and it is based on the reward policy. In the next step, which calls for this thesis work, a study needs to be carried out by improving the reward policy so that the existing model behaves closer to reality and an optimal solution can be found. The thesis will be performed using the Python language. Further, one can also get familiar with the bucket loading of the WL when handling different materials.

Description


Every day we receive ~700 pallets and each pallet have at least one paper flag nailed to the frame of the pallet. Currently we remove these papers manually by hand.
We want you to validate and find a suitable system to be able to detect and identify papers on wooden pallet frames. The assignment is finding a suitable software and camera system that can autonomously detect and identify specific labels in different sizes ranging from A7 to A4.
In the long run we aim to find a solution that can autonomously identify the papers with vision cameras and give coordinates to remove them with a robot.

Idag består vårt team av fem produktionsledare som tillsammans arbetar nära värdeflödet i vår taktade montering. Du kommer att ansvara för ett produktionsområde inom monteringen och ditt arbetslag består av ca 40 medarbetare, varav tre Teamledare. Du har personal- arbetsmiljö- och budgetansvar för ditt produktionsområde. Arbetet är förlagt på dagtid.

We are now looking for a Diagnostic Engineer to our team in VCE Braås. The work as diagnostic engineer includes developing strategies for troubleshooting and testing of the machine's embedded systems and related components. You are driving the improvement of troubleshooting support already during the design stage, by actively working and participating in projects that develop new technologies. Main job area for this position is related to future Electromobility solutions .


As the new Diagnostic Engineer, you will be part of the department of Diagnostic & Maintainability Engineering. We are the main function to produce information and tools for operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of products within Volvo Construction Equipment. We are involved in the development of new products together with R&D departments, not only in Sweden, but also internationally. You will occasionally be travelling within Sweden but also to your other colleagues who are located in other parts of the world. You will be part of a dynamic team who is adapting to new ways of working and preparing for the future.


Most of all work is done in collaboration with others in the department or in other departments. Therefore, it is essential that you have good cooperative skills, can give and take feedback, and deliver according to the plans you make with your colleagues. We see that you have a fresh Master's/Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics or similar, and is willing to learn and grow. Modern vehicle technology is familiar to you, and you have an interest in machinery and software features. Experience/knowledge of programming is seen as a merit.

Master Thesis – Evaluation of DEM simulation software for Wheel Loader applications.
The purpose of the thesis work is to evaluate how detailed DEM (Descrete element Method) particles compares with a simplified representation when simulating full vehicle models.
DEM simulation software can be used as a tool to represent the interaction of particles and their environment. These particles are having interaction with each other and other objects in their environment, this interaction is critical to the result of the simulation and how they correlate to the real world. A simplified representation of these particles reduces the knowledge needed to produce results, but is limited in its ability to accurately represent reality. A more detailed particle have the potential to move the simulation closer to the real world at the expense of more initial work on the model.
This investigation will explore the potential of improving our simulation models by implementing a detailed DEM particle and evaluating the changed behavior compared to a simplified model. A baseline is set with the current simulation model, and then a more detailed DEM software is set up and compared to the baseline in terms of modeling complexity, computational demand, correlation to each other and to real world measurements using full vehicle simulations in Simulink and Adams.

Som ILE jobbar man i huvudsak proaktivt men ska om nödvändigt stötta våra materialplanerare vid mer komplicerade materialbrister och leverantörskonflikter. Det är en självständig roll som ställer stora krav på initiativförmåga, uthållighet, framåtdrift och inte minst samarbetsförmåga. Som ILE verkar du aktivt för ständig förbättring och utveckling av den egna, gruppens och logistiks arbetsprocesser. Arbetsbelastningen kan periodvis variera med hög beläggning och korta leveransfönster till perioder med mer normal beläggning, vid dessa tider är det viktigt med en förmåga att jobba med lösningar på mer långsiktiga problemställningar och förbättringsarbete av den egna processen.


Vem är du?


Vi söker dig med eftergymnasial utbildning med inriktning logistik alternativt annan utbildning med inriktning mot logistik eller motsvarande yrkeserfarenhet. Erfarenhet av arbete inom logistik och/eller inköp ser vi som meriterande. Du har goda datorkunskaper och kunskap om moderna MPS-system och med fördel SAP. Vi ser även att du har insikt i Lean-manufacturing samt principerna i Volvo Production System.
Som person är du analytisk, strukturerad och noggrann i ditt arbetssätt. Du kan hålla ordning och reda på många detaljer och samtidigt ha en helhetssyn. Du har mycket god samarbets- och kommunikationsförmåga och har lätt för att skapa nya kontakter. Du har drivkraften att jobba med utveckling av arbetsprocesserna och skall kunna driva förbättringsteam. Du behärskar engelska och svenska väl både i tal och i skrift

Vilka är vi?
Parts and Service Engineering är en avdelning inom organisationen Uptime, Productivity and Parts inom Volvo Construction Equipment. Avdelningen är placerad i både Braås och Motherwell med ett tätt samarbete sinsemellan. Totalt är vi cirka 20 medarbetare som jobbar med metod och serviceutveckling, teknisk dokumentation och reservdelshantering.
Rollen
Som metodtekniker ansvar du för att planera och utveckla service- och reparationsmetoder, göra tidsstudier och ta fram specialverktyg. Du samarbetar med teknisk skribent med att beskriva metoderna och publicera materialet i våra eftermarknadssystem. Du utvecklar och underhåller nya arbetssätt så som användandet av VR/AR och ansvarar och planerar metoder för eftermarknadsutrustning och tillbehör. Du deltar aktivt i nyutvecklingsprojekt med avseende på servicenivå och kundfokus för våra produkter.
Vem är du?

As a design engineer within the Installation team you will be responsible for the installation of all electrical systems related to high and low voltage, automation, electromobility and connectivity. This includes routing and designing of cable harnesses and installing electrical components in our machines using 3D modeling software.

Rollen
Som Projektledare med fokus på logistik leder du ett team som utvecklar olika delar i vår logistikprocess inom produktion. Det kan exempelvis vara att driva omställning av vår interna logistikflöden, utrustningsinvesteringar eller som logistiks delprojektledare i våra produktutvecklingsprojekt. Inom Software Systems AAH är vi ca 30 mjukvaruutvecklare som ansvarar för utveckling av mjukvaran till våra maskiner. Arbetet innebär; nedbrytning av funktionskrav, framtagning av mjukvaruarkitektur, design av mjukvara och implementation av kod.
Vi arbetar i en modern utvecklingsmiljö där arkitektur och design görs i UML, programmering i C++ och vi använder oss av en CI/CD pipeline med Jenkins, Unit testing och integrations testning. GIT, Jira och Confluence är andra verktyg i vår verktygskedja. Vi jobbar i Agila team och är övertygade om att teamwork och samarbete är nyckeln till att lyckas och att ha roligt på jobbet!

The Team
Product Platforms for the Autonomous & Articulated Hauler is part of the Volvo CE Technology organization.
We are currently 18 engineers with specialist competencies working in a collaborative setup across product departments. Securing consistent technology sharing and concept development, supporting the product platforms, Medium, Large, Heavy and Autonomous.
The Platforms are involved in the complete product life cycle from advanced engineering to aftermarket support.


The Role
We are looking for system engineer to take on the responsibility for the cooling/heating system of the machines in the hauler platform. Managing the cooling requirements and translating them into machine performance will be part of your tasks. Machines include both diesel and fully electrical drivetrains and everything in between including potential new sources of energy.
You will be a part of the system team responsible for the current and future functionality of the machine system. The team is the connection between complete machine performance and system requirements. You will be working closely with the engineering organization with a strong support both in simulation and testing. Continuous interaction with external suppliers as well as internal design departments where you will be one of the important keys in defining the sustainable future for VCE Haulers.

Ditt nya Team
Testteamet består av 15 skickliga ingenjörer som arbetar i tvärfunktionella projekt i en agil miljö. Teamet ansvarar för testning av våra produkter. Från mjukvara till delsystem och certifieringsprov på komplett maskin för Volvo CE:s autonoma och ramstyrda dumprar.


Rollen
Som mjukvarutestare har du en viktig roll i produktutvecklingsprocessen. Du testar programvaror, både internt utvecklad programvara och programvara från externa partners. Du deltar i funktionsutvecklingsprocessen och ansvarar för tvärfunktionella samordningsmöten, tidsplanering, verifieringsplanering samt administration och testutveckling.


Din bakgrund
För att lyckas i din nya roll tror vi att du har en universitetsutbildning inom relevant område eller motsvarande erfarenhet. Du är bekant med mjukvarutestning och har ett strukturerat sätt att arbeta och dokumentera. Vi tror också att du är angelägen om att lära och arbeta med din egen och teamutvecklingen. Du gillar att jobba med problemlösning.

Ditt nya team
Huvuduppgifterna för teamet för virtuell produktutveckling är att prediktera samt verifiera prestanda och hållfasthet för maskiner, system och komponenter med digitala verktyg och modeller. Vi befinner oss på en transformationsresa där vi inte bara utvecklar och använder den senaste tekniken inom virtuell produktutveckling, Data Analytics och Cloud Computing, utan också integrerar olika domäner till vad vi kallar digitala tvillingar. Under denna transformationsresa samarbetar vi med team nära våra slutkunder för att utveckla kundlösningar baserade på våra digitala tvillingar.


Din roll
Som simulerings- eller beräkningsingenjör kommer du att vara en del av det nya sättet att arbeta med ökat användande av modeller, simuleringar och kunddata, vilka kommer att ersätta det gamla sättet att utforska och verifiera designlösningar. Du kommer att ingå i ett team som är jobbar med ett flertal områden inom virtuell produktutveckling. För att lyckas i denna position är det viktigt att du vill lära dig nya saker och att du har en stark drivkraft att utveckla inte bara dig själv utan även processer och produkter.

Modellera samt realisera miljön där den modellerade maskinen, systemet eller komponenten verkar.

Värdera och verifiera resultat från simuleringar, analyser och mätningar.
Styra beräkningsarbetet i projekt och utgöra kontaktyta mot projektledning och konstruktörer.

Vilka är vi?
Inom avdelningen Produktionsteknik Montering behöver vi utöka vårt team och letar därför efter två produktionsingenjörer med fokus på utveckling och support av monteringsprocessen. De områden vi söker produktionsingenjör inom är:
Produktionsingenjör inom Support & Utveckling mot driftområde i monteringen.
Du tar en ledande roll i löpande projekt och ansvarar för upphandling och driftsättning av ny produktionsutrustning. Med dina kunskaper bidrar du till att utveckla metoder, processer, digitalisering, verktyg och produktionsflöden inom monteringen, men även utveckling av egna arbetssätt på avdelningen.
Produktionsingenjör Support & Utveckling inom tid & balansering.
Du tar en drivande roll inom monteringen för framtagning av tider och balansering. Du kommer bland annat att arbeta i ett system som heter Avix för balansering av hela produktionsprocessen. Med dina kunskaper inom exempelvis LEAN bidrar du till effektivisering, rationaliseringar, digitalisering och förbättringar av monteringsprocessen men även utveckling av egna arbetssätt på avdelningen.

Inom avdelningen Produktionsteknik Montering blir du en del av ett team som idag består av 9 ingenjörer som är ansvariga för support och utveckling av monteringsprocessen av dumprar. Vi arbetar nära varandra i ett öppet och stödjande arbetsklimat. Vi lägger stor vikt vid att skapa och behålla en bra arbetsmiljö och ett gott samarbete med alla som finns runt omkring oss.

Som person är du positiv, analytisk och har lätt för att samarbeta med olika personer. Du agerar prestigelöst, är lösningsorienterad och har en passion att få saker att hända. Du har en vilja och engagemang att ta på dig ledande roller i projekt och vill öka både din egen och lagets utveckling.


För att lyckas i den här rollen har du en högskole- eller civilingenjörsutbildning alternativt annan eftergymnasial utbildning kombinerade med relevant erfarenhet. Eftersom det är mycket kommunikation både i svenska och engelska behöver du behärska dessa språk bra både i tal och i skrift. Om du har kunskaper eller erfarenheter från liknande arbete anser vi det vara ett plus, men viljan att lära är viktigare.

På Tillverkningen jobbar vi med laserskärning, plåtbearbetning, svetsning, maskinbearbetning, blästring och målning för att tillverka dumperns olika komponenter för leverans till vår Monteringsavdelning.
I våra team arbetar maskinoperatörer, svetsare och målare nära varandra i ett öppet arbetsklimat. Vi lägger stor vikt vid att skapa och behålla en bra arbetsmiljö och ett gott samarbete med alla personer inom samtliga funktioner. Som svetsare i vår produktion arbetar du med Mig/Mag- och robotsvetsning. Arbetstiden är för närvarande förlagd till 2-skift.

Hur är jobbet som Mättekniker?
Som Mättekniker arbetar du i första hand med att planera och genomföra mätningar och kommunicera mätresultat i organisationen. Du arbetar både med löpande uppföljning av egentillverkat material och produkter och mer projektbaserad uppföljning av externt köpt material (prototyper och utfallsprov). I tjänsten ingår även att medverka i problemlösning kopplat till kvalitets- och geometriproblematik och att vara en kraft i tidiga skeden i produktutvecklingsprocessen för ritnings- och mättekniska frågeställningar.


Vi har flera olika mätutrustningar som vi använder för olika typer av uppföljningar, en större MORA pelarmätmaskin där vi kan mäta större objekt, en stor wenzel portalmätmaskin, en hexagon absolutarm och en Leica lasertracker med scanner för mobil mätdatainsamling.


Arbetstiden är dagtid.


Quality Development & Audits Fabrication, vilka är Vi?
Tjänsten innebär att arbeta med att följa upp kvaliteten på våra produkter. Våra huvuduppgifter är att kvalitetssäkra av köpt och egentillverkat material. Vi jobbar både med dagens produktion och med våra utvecklingsprojekt. Vi är idag 10 medarbetare som har stor erfarenhet och kompetens inom kvalitetssäkring.


Vem är Du?
Du har dokumenterad erfarenhet av arbete som mättekniker och ett genuint intresse för kvalitet och geometriuppföljning. Du är erfaren och har god kunskap inom ritningsläsning/granskning. Du kan arbeta självständigt, göra bedömningar och fatta beslut. Du har god förmåga att kommunicera, både på svenska och engelska, och återkoppla kvalitets- och mättekniska resultat och frågeställningar. Erfarenhet av mätprogramvaran PC-DMIS och Quartis är önskvärd. Du har datorvana och behärskar Microsoft Office & Excel.

Role description
As a Parts Engineer, you will give support to our regions and internal functions. This means working in our case handling system and act upon requests. Updating and removing spare parts, interpret customer needs and make adjustments accordingly. Maintain and develop a parts offering by considering the legal, technical and commercial requirements. You will capture feedback given from the market and turn into continuous improvement work and also give feedback to our internal departments for improvements and development.

Hur är jobbet som kvalitetstekniker?
Att vara kvalitetstekniker är att ha kvalitetshatten på sig under hela sin arbetsdag. Att finnas som support till produktionen och agera strukturerat och professionellt för att säkra kvaliteten på inköpt material. Det innebär både att se och lyssna för att förstå problemet, att mäta och se om komponenten är enligt ritning eller ej, justera materialet så vi klarar nästa takt i produktionen, analysera för att finna grundorsaken och återföra problemet till vår leverantör.
Tjänsten innebär även en hel del administrativt arbete då kommunikationen med våra leverantörer sker via datorsystem.


Quality Development & Audit Assembly, vilka är Vi?
Vi är en avdelning som arbetar med att kvalitetssäkra våra produkter innan de skickas till kund. Våra huvuduppgifter är kvalitetssäkring av köpt material, genomföra produktrevisioner på våra dumprar samt kalibrering av kontrollinstrument. The Team


Product Platforms for the Autonomous & Articulated Hauler is part of the Volvo CE Technology organization.
We are currently 18 engineers with specialist competencies working in a collaborative setup across product departments. Securing consistent technology sharing and concept development, supporting the product platforms, Medium, Large, Heavy and Autonomous.
The Platforms are involved in the complete product life cycle from advanced engineering to aftermarket support.


The Role


Main task of a system engineer is setting the cornerstones for the system in terms of requirements and interfaces. We want you to be able to set up a fuel cell system in order to meet machine requirements. You will be the primary contact for fuel cell systems both internally and in communication with our suppliers. You will work together with other teams supporting with cooling, installation etc.

The Role


We are looking for system engineer to take on the responsibility for the cooling system of the machines in the hauler platform. You are likely to have worked with heat management in similar systems before and are familiar with the challenges of a complex cooling system. Managing the cooling requirements and translating them into machine performance will be part of your task. Machine architecture include both diesel and fully electrical drivetrains and everything in between including potential new sources of energy.
You will be a part of the system team responsible for the current and future functionality of the machine system. The team is the connection between complete machine performance and system requirements. You will be working closely with the engineering organization with a strong support both in simulation and testing. Continuous interaction with external suppliers as well as internal design departments where you will be one of the important keys in defining the sustainable future for VCE Haulers.

As Project Manager Purchasing you will lead and be responsible for all Purchasing related activities in Hauler & Loader projects as well as within Cost Reduction initiatives. You will report to the Project Director Purchasing.


Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead and be responsible for Purchasing related activities within NPD projects, Advanced Engineering and Cost reduction initiatives
Secure that Purchasing requirements are considered in all project phases
Secure that Purchasing contributors fulfil their Project deliverables and tasks

The Team
The testing team consists of 12 skilled engineers who are working in cross functional projects in an agile setup.
The team is responsible for testing of our products. From software, sub system to complete machine for Volvo CE´s autonomous and articulated haulers.


The Role
As test engineer you have a vital role in the process of product development and a direct input to product quality. In the role you test software releases, both internally developed software and software from external partners. This includes driving cross functional coordination meetings, time planning, verification planning as well as administration and test development.

We are now looking for a Diagnostic Engineer to our team in VCE Braås. The work as diagnostic engineer includes developing strategies for troubleshooting and testing of the machine's embedded systems. You are driving the improvement of troubleshooting support already during the design stage, by actively working and participating in projects that develop new technologies


As the new Diagnostic Engineer, you will be part of the department of Diagnostic & Maintainability Engineering. We are the main function to produce information and tools for operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of products within Volvo Construction Equipment. We are involved in the development of new products together with R&D departments, not only in Sweden, but also internationally. You will occasionally be travelling within Sweden but also to your other colleagues who are located in Asia and Europe. Most of all work is done in collaboration with others in the department or in other departments. Therefore, it is essential that you have good cooperative skills, can give and take feedback and deliver according to the plans you make with your colleagues. Rollen som Project Quality Manager Operations (PQMO) innebär att du sätter dig i förarsätet för kvalitetssäkringsprocessen Production Quality Assurance Planning (PQAP) i produktutvecklingsprojekten. Den syftar bland annat till att redan i tidiga faser formulera kvalitetskrav och planera för de aktiviteter som säkerställer både produkt och processkvalitet.


PQMO är en senior projektroll och innebär ett mångfacetterat arbete. Du driver och stödjer kvalitetsfrågorna inom produktionsdelen av produktutvecklingsprojekten, när det gäller andra delar så är din roll mer uppföljande eller koordinerande. En av dina viktigaste uppgifter är att underlätta det tvärfunktionella samarbetet och kommunikationen i olika kvalitetssäkringsaspekter. Det kan gälla inköpt material, tekniskt underlag, riskanalyser och FMEA, samt sammanställa data för att bedöma kvalitetsaspekter.


Vidare kommer du att vid behov agera larmgruppsledare för kvalitetsproblem för svetsade och inköpta komponenter.

Position Description
As manager for the Software Systems department you will lead, develop and coach a team of 10-15 engineers. You will also co-operate with our technology team in India (Bangalore) regarding resources and deliverables. You are responsible for the software life cycle of the Articulated and Autonomous Hauler products and manage deliveries, resources and expenses within budget frames. Your technical area will be the embedded software system development, including both current and future architecture. Together with colleagues and group members, you are working to set up a shared vision regarding the technology mission, meeting the upcoming disruptive challenges within automation, electromobility and connectivity. You will be part of the Engineering Management Team and by that contributing to the local technology strategy. In this team you will also have a great forum to address and discuss questions, we support and challenge each other and are eager to learn.

Product Platform for the Autonomous & Articulated Hauler is part of the Volvo CE Technology organization, with five main departments:

The Software Systems AAH team consists of 17 highly skilled engineers working in cross functional projects in an agile setup.

The Team
The AAH Software Systems team consists of 15 highly skilled engineers working in cross functional projects in an agile setup.
We are responsible for the software development for our autonomous and articulated haulers in all parts of the product lifecycle (Prototyping, new development projects, as well as product maintenance).


The Role
As Software engineer you are involved in all steps in the development of the software: From product needs, to requirement breakdown, software design, implementation, tuning and testing in machine.


Another important part of the role is to contribute to the continuous development of our work methods including: Model Based Development and Continuous Integration (CI) as well as our agile way of working.

Knowledge & experience

The Team
Product Platforms for the Autonomous & Articulated Hauler is part of the Volvo CE Technology organization.
We are currently 18 engineers with specialist competencies working in a collaborative setup across product departments. Securing consistent technology sharing and concept development, supporting the product platforms, Medium, Large, Heavy and Autonomous.
The Platforms are involved in the complete product life cycle from advanced engineering to aftermarket support.


The Role
We are looking for system engineer managing the high voltage and battery system of our haulers with electrical drive. You will be a part of the system team responsible for the current and future functionality of the system. The team will be the connection between complete vehicle performance and system requirements. You will work with both the components in the machines that we produce today, and you will also be a part of how we build the machines in the future. The system engineer needs to collaborate with several parts of the organization.

Experience or knowledge in the following areas will be beneficial and are meritorious:
Off-road machinery / Heavy trucks, Autonomous or driver assisting solutions, Experience from automotive or construction equipment, Basic CAD-skills, Systems Engineering, Modelbased Systems Engineering, Product and system architecture.

The team
Product Maintenance Articulated Hauler has the global responsibility to solve quality problems on Articulated Haulers within Volvo CE. The primary scope for the Product Maintenance process is to take care of customers by focusing on field quality issues and provide support to Operations.
We are also responsible for driving all product improvement and special application projects, as well as ensuring that articulated haulers are compliant with laws and regulations.


The role
Your main focus in this role is to manage and coordinate PM activities connected to Electrics and Electronics in the end-to-end perspective in the DMAIC process (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control). You will drive this in a cross-functional team and focus on field quality and production quality.
By working with preventive actions and lessons learned, you will contribute to a learning organization that always strives for continuous improvements.

Huvudsakliga arbetsuppgifter:
Emballageberedning i produktprojekt samt vid löpande produkt- och processförändringar, jobbar med såväl Volvos standardemballage såväl som att ta fram specialracks tillsammans med leverantörer.
Utveckla metoder och verktyg inom beredningsprocessen. Ett viktigt fokus för emballageberedningsarbetet är att skapa goda förutsättningar för att förbättra så att operatören får materialet presenterat på ett bra sätt samtidigt som transporterna skall optimeras.
Vara ett stöd till produktionstekniker i produktprojekt samt vid löpande produkt och processförändringar.
Du kommer att vara en del av bedningsgruppen på avdelningen och ni hjälps åt med alla typer av beredningsjobb, produkt, process och emballage.

Önskvärda kvalifikationer:
Högskole- eller civilingenjör (företrädesvis med maskinteknisk inriktning) eller annan eftergymnasial utbildning kombinerad med god erfarenhet.
God samarbetsförmåga, drivande, strukturerad och resultatinriktad samt har förmågan att skapa delaktighet och engagemang.
Goda kunskaper inom CATIA/ CREO, Windchill och SAP eller motsvarande.
Goda kunskaper i Excel.
Erfarenhet från produktionsberedning inom fordonsindustrin är meriterande.
Behärskar svenska och engelska såväl i tal som i skrift.
